CEEweb for Biodiversity and Bulgarian Biodiversity Foundation with partners have just announced the call of their II. Go-Wild! photo competition to celebrate nature.
Professional and amateur photographers can submit their best shots in two categories until mid-September: 1. wild landscapes and 2. wild species. The winner of each category can choose between a cash prize or a two-day stay in the breath-taking Bulgarian Western Rhodope. Special awards will also be provided by some partners.
As one of the partners, GreenArts will award the best landscape photo in the Carpathians with a natural pressed flower artwork showing the winning landscape and a dedicated article on www.greenarts.eu.
CEEweb calls the photographers to show the beauty of European protected areas, capture the beauty of plants and animals living in the wild, make a shot on environmental-friendly farms and rural areas and show how nature can thrive in urban or artificial environment. CEEweb has been working and contributing to save our natural heritage in Central and Eastern Europe for two decades.
In the past 20 years CEEweb has built out a coherent civil organization network of over 60 NGOs from 20 countries that strives for saving biodiversity in the region. We have contributed to the development of major national, regional, EU and international conservation and environmental policies and processes with the aim to save species, diverse landscapes and rich ecosystems through the promotion of sustainable development.
Twenty years in nature conservation is something to be commemorated. We ask everybody to join us in the celebration of nature’s beauty, record it with photos and share them with us!
